Through a textured composition of layered paint, torn paper, and earthy tones, there evokes themes of inner strength and hope. ‘Grit’ invites viewers to reflect on the beauty found in endurance and triumph over adversity.

Grit is a story of resilience, told through layers of texture and tension. Rough, jagged edges clash with soft, flowing curves, creating a space where struggle meets strength. The palette—earthy and raw, with unexpected gasps of strong bright colour—grounds the piece, while a solid torr of millstone grit takes a central position against a turbulent horizon. This is about persistence, about finding beauty in the fight and power in what endures. Every tear, every mark, carries the weight of a journey, a testament to the unstoppable force of the human spirit.
